Most of the CRM demos extend or offer a similar functionality like the successful SaaS product of CAS, CAS PIA.

iPhone Live Demo

Highlights

RAP Creator

This project is the Diplom Thesis of Steffen Steinbeisser. The aim is an application builder that is capable of modifying and creating eclipse RAP based web applications. The Demo of the Builder is itself a rap based application, so can be viewed online. The first prototype can be viewed here


RAP Designer

This project is the Bachelor-Thesis of Christian Spinner. The aim is a visual GUI-Designer that is capable of modifying and creating eclipse RAP based web applications. At the moment, it can render a model and show the structure together with some properties. The Demo of the Designer is itself a rap based application, so can be viewed online. more Information...


RAP Custom Widgets

Rich, virtual Table widget

This project has been developed by Balazs Brinkus and Lajos Som. It is a new RAP virtual table implementation that is able to render large tables in a highly customizable way.

RAP Geolocation WebUI

This project is under development in course of the Diploma Thesis of Michael Selecke. The aim is to demonstrate possible uses of geodata and Location Based Services in CRM.
The project includes a REST Webservice to provide required data on-demand, a Web-UI based on
Eclipse RAP as well as a mobile client.
Current features of the WebUI include locating the user via Google Gears (if installed), geocoding a manually entered location, looking up contacts near the client's current location as well as displaying a self-generated heat map showing customer-density. Map-functionality is based on Microsoft Virtual Earth.


Silverlight Integration into RAP-Designer

This project is under development in course of the Master Thesis of Sascha Ries. The aim of this project is to enable the RAP-Designer to operate with several scripting languages, like Python and JavaScript, as well as generating silverlight applications from within the RAP-Designer based on RAP applications.

HTML5 Demo Application

This HTML5 demo is the achievement of the Bachelor Thesis of Marcel Münchow.

The target of this demo application is to investigate some potential scenarios, where HTML5 could become a benefit for future web based applications and to test the state of implementation of HTML5 in different browsers.

Silverlight CRM Demo

This project has been developed by the CAS Szeged Silverlight group: Tamas Abraham, David Antal, Daniel Kelemen.
The aim is to demonstrate the power of the
Microsoft Silverlight technology to build Rich Internet Applications. The following prototype implements some of the features of CAS PIA and adds offline functionality.

Qooxdoo Offline CRM Demo

This demo shows the prototype of a Qooxdoo CAS PIA client with offline capabilities. It uses Gears with its several APIs.

IO Factory Demo using GWT

The following project is a very simple demonstration of IOFactory SMS Service usage. It provides functionality for choosing a method of sms sending (HTTP-POST or SOAP). Also it is possible to choose an sms type that determines the options available for the sender (additional options are not yet implemented). Presentation.

The technology used for this project is GWT + GWT-Ext library.

CAS PIA Demo using GWT

This simple prototype implements some of the features of CAS PIA, using GWT and GWT-Ext library. The demo can browse in the contacts of the CAS PIA backend server (login is done automatically). In addition to standard CAS PIA features, it is possible to send a fax or an sms to the person selected in the contacts list.

iCRM (Web)

This project has been developed by Philipp Kläsle. The project has been fixed and improved by Meike Hammer and Holger Wiedemann.
The aim is to demonstrate the implementation and usage of a web based CRM client for the iPhone. The project uses
iui for an iPhone like experience of the user interface whereas Tomcat serves as an application server.

iPlaton

This project has been developed by Meike Hammer. The aim is to demonstrate the implementation and usage of a web application for schools, for the iPhone. The project uses iui for an iPhone like experience of the user interface.

iCRM Design Demo

This project has been developed by Philipp Kläsle. The aim is to show a consistent design of a CRM application for the iPhone. The project uses iui for an iPhone like experience of the user interface. The demo is only available for CAS collegues, please ask for a password!

EIM REST Webservice

This project has been developed by Andreas Heck.
The aim of this project is to create a REST webservice for the EIM server that provides better interoperability than the existing SOAP webservice that was developed as a part of the EIM server. The developers guide of this REST webservice is available as a
Google Document. To allow for easier testing I've also created a tool called resourcetester that allows to execute declarative tests of webresources that have to be declared in an XML file.

Email Assistent

This project is part of the Diploma Thesis "Intelligente Email-Assistent" of Olena Beck. The aim is to grab the time, place, personal information concerning appointments from text, such as email.
